Supper: soup of some variety or other.

Plus, got some short-dated stewing beef, so will make a beef bourguignon for the weekend. And bread... I didn't make any yesterday in the end.

Yesterday, Roast parsnip, squash and beetroot with leeks and a runny duck egg (been to the garden centre again )
Tonight red lentil dahl, with mushroom and squash jalfrezi and chapattis.

Tonight leftover beef and vegetable stew from yesterday with fluffy, crispy topped dumplings, mashed potato and cabbage.

Sausage, egg and chips with a couple of slices of bread.

Chilli con carne with added chillis and sweet peppers.

I'm celebrating my first payday from my new job, so I've had steak (fillet and ribeye) two nights on the trot, with roasted pattypans from my stores, last bit of tromboncino, peppers, mushrooms with a bit of soy sauce and plum sauce in the air fryer, and peas and sweetcorn to go with it. Delicious. (Note to self - must grow more patty pans this year)

Late lunch: beef bourguignon with red cabbage and apples plus mash if I can be bothered.

Didn't have supper yesterday (too full of pizza), so: soup of some variety if required.

Plus bread rolls and start off an overnight loaf.

Finishing off the guinea fowl with a creamy mushroom and meat pasta . ( using reduced meat stock of course!)

Mixed roast vegetables, couscous and feta, baked gammon joint, jacket sweet potato and beer battered onion rings I think. A glass or two of red.

Chilli con carne with extra chillies smoked paprika and sweet red and yellow peppers mushrooms and onions with rice and with soft tortilla baskets.

Stir fry again - forgot OH was out last night so have leftovers!
