  • Pizza tonight. The dough is rising as I type.

    • Last night ended up being smoked mackeral salad.
      Tonight is going to be scampi, homemade tartare sauce, potato scallops in beer batter, carrots and peas.

      • Last night ended up being mushroom risotto instead of omelette.

        Lunch: muffins with bacon (and a fried egg for Mr Snoop), water melon granita (didn't have it yesterday)
        Supper: fish and veg with last of the canteloupe melon for afters

        Didn't do any baking yesterday. Will see how I go for a sourdough loaf. Got the next hour or so to decide or get distracted...

              • Dear me, none of yesterday happened. Except the loaf. Just as well, as that means we can have some for sandwiches for lunch today.
                Supper: fish and veg, with watermelon granita for afters.

                • Well, yesterday was another rubbish day as far as planning goes/went...

                  Lunch today: pork chops with assorted veg
                  Supper: big salad

                  Mixed white/granary sourdough loaf and a couple of olive oil loaves for the freezer.

                    • Lambs liver last night - lightly cooked in a crunchy coating with crushed spuds, courgettes fried with garlic, steamed cabbage, halved cherry Tom's and gravy.

                        Tonight is going to be king prawn curry with naan bread.

                        • As part of helping the forum run smoothly we are closing posts with more than 1500 posts, to make access easier, I shall be locking this thread and starting a new one, it will have this thread linked if anyone wants to look back through it.
