  • I've got beef stew with loads of veg burbling away in the slow cooker and I've already mixed my Yorkshire pudding batter.
    Sorted.

    • Had carrots and lentil soup for lunch, then plan on having cheese on toast this evening. Might chop a chilli to sprinkle on the top.

          • Home-made pizza for lunch.

            Supper: soup of some variety or other.

            Plus, got some short-dated stewing beef, so will make a beef bourguignon for the weekend. And bread... I didn't make any yesterday in the end.

            • Yesterday, Roast parsnip, squash and beetroot with leeks and a runny duck egg (been to the garden centre again )
              Tonight red lentil dahl, with mushroom and squash jalfrezi and chapattis.

                      • I'm celebrating my first payday from my new job, so I've had steak (fillet and ribeye) two nights on the trot, with roasted pattypans from my stores, last bit of tromboncino, peppers, mushrooms with a bit of soy sauce and plum sauce in the air fryer, and peas and sweetcorn to go with it. Delicious. (Note to self - must grow more patty pans this year)

                          • Late lunch: beef bourguignon with red cabbage and apples plus mash if I can be bothered.

                            Didn't have supper yesterday (too full of pizza), so: soup of some variety if required.

                            Plus bread rolls and start off an overnight loaf.
