  • Last night turned out to be pork stir fry with noodles. Really good if I say so myself!

    So piperade and salad for lunch.
    Pizza for supper if I can get myself in gear to make the dough this morning.

    • Veggie curry (jarred sauce, but organic Seeds of Change Tikka Masala, for laziness!), yoghurt raita, fresh tomato chutney and tomato, cucumber and onion relish, with half a pita.

                  • Smoked cod baked in milk for my husband, lamb steak with mint jelly and gravy for me, potato gratin, carrots and creamed leeks (if I get to the allotment). French beans from the freezer if not.

                          Lunch: chicken empanadas (a bit like a very flat pasty) and salad.
                          Supper: salad followed by sausage and saffron risotto.
