Followed by Milky Way ice cream.

Goodness but I'm going to have to up my game. It's not the usual friend up the valley. We now have an Italian friend with restaurant training in residence. His chilli con carne (with dark chocolate) was the best I've ever had. Managed only to have one medium-sized helping...

So lunch: mushroom omelette and salad, I think.
Supper: crespelle stuffed with romanesco and mat� (like ricotta), sliced oranges in muscovado sugar and rum syrup.
Not sure about the crespelle, but no spinach and loads of romanesco...

More of yesterday's baked ham and mustard sauce, leftover roast veg from yesterday mixed with couscous with lots of parmesan on top and potato scallops in beer batter.

Tagliatelle with sauce from the freezer, garlic mushrooms and leaf salad with parmesan.

Pasta pesto followed by more ice cream .

Sounds nice Nicos. Not noticed Sumak on this thread before, I used it for the first time last Weds on crispy fried (kale) seaweed.

Sourdough currently on the go so tonight will be something with bread.

Planning a pilau with assorted veg from allotment and fridge and with paneer. And if I have time, make scones for the afternoon.
