Sausage pasta bake. I just blagged it a bit but it turned out much better than I expected.

Lunch: pasta with a courgette and tuna sauce.
Supper: lamb and quince tagine if it thaws in time. If not, goodness knows. Mr Snoop's trip to the shops was less than totally successful.

Didn't make the madeleines yesterday. Made the mixture this afternoon. Apparently it benefits from a rest in the fridge...

Got a curry sauce from the local farm shop to try so its beef curry , rice and naan ..and being saturday a glass of vino (any excuse)

Today, pizza out of the freezer.
But looking forward to tomorrow when it shall be German bratwurst (imported back in February when the world was still normal), red cabbage and potatoes.

Madeleines a total success. Any other cakes you can think of where the mixture needs a rest before baking, by the way?

Lunch: vegetable paella with a bit of chorizo bunged in for colour and flavour.
Supper: minestrone soup
