Last night was steak pie, veg , chips and gravy

Salmon, chunky chips cooked in the air fryer and mixed veg.

I can't wait any longer. I'm picking the first asparagus today! I 've got some salmon out of the freezer to have with it (to be baked with lemon and capers), also potatoes dauphinoise, carrots and peas.

Lunch: risotto (grass asparagus and broad beans)
Supper: up the valley for stew, apparently

Also, ginger biscuits and poolish for bread and focaccia.

Salmon quiche with grated carrot, radish and beetroot followed by our own cherries followed by hot cross buns( which my OH made this morning!)

Just realised I forgot to post yesterday!
Chunky Butternut squash soup with lardons and homemade soda bread
Followed by carrot cake

I made leek &Tattie soup followed by oven baked cod (in tinfoil) and pan fried chips, not those horrible oven chips.!

The cod just fell apart and was well tasty.

Yesterday, with leftovers today, PSB thinly sliced with tagliatelle in a carbonara style sauce made with cream, Greek yoghurt, anchovies, garlic, parmagianno and egg yolks. Seriously yummy if I say so myself. Mr HH made deliahs coffee and walnut cake ��

Tonight its pasta, bol, garlic bread and a glass of red.

Weather supposed to be nice so bbq is planned . Have some chicken to make a marinade for and will do some steak, tomato and mozz salad and a green salad .

Lunch: polenta with sausage and chestnut sauce. Pud, sliced oranges in dark sugar and rum sauce.
Supper: bread and butter and a cup of tea I imagine.

Chicken curry made from scratch and basmati rice.
Cheese and crackers with a glass of red.
