Not too bad at all for a first attempt. They got eaten so they couldn't have been too bad. I might have a go at naan bread next time. Normally one of the few types of food we go out and eat is Indian is I always presumed it was hard to make but if I keep practising things might change.

Tonight smoked cod baked in milk for my husband, lamb steak with mint jelly and gravy for me, potatoes dauphinoise, cauliflower cheese, asparagus and carrots.

Finishing of yesterday�s pie will be having it with carrots and peas this time.

Bread (50% wholewheat with biga) and more madeleines (finish off mixture and call it a day for as long as we can last without).

Lunch: total rubbish and not owning up!
Supper up the valley cooked by Italian friend. Sounds like pasta e fagioli but with rice instead of fagioli. Doubtless it would seem like dishwater if I were to make it, but equally doubtless it will be delicious made by him. Ah well.

Delia's vegetarian moussaka for supper. Lunch will doubtless be something with yesterday's bread, which is really good. First time I've made it. Will definitely make again.
