        • Last night I made a fish pie which we had with carrots and french beans. I also made a Lemon curd Victoria sponge.

Tonight I'm going to make quiche, not sure what is going in it yet, probably some combination of cheese, mushroom, onion, pepper and ham, also the leftover roast veg mixed with couscous. More Victoria sponge.

            • Last night we had gnocchi with chard, mushrooms (normal and dried porcini) Stilton and Roquefort with garlic bread and salad leaves from garden.

I think we may end up looking like chard and perpetual spinach before long, but so glad I planted so much of it last year.

              • Homemade Cock-a-leekie soup.

Quickly made with a small leek (green and all) and a tattie, some chopped cooked chicken and a couple of chicken stock cubes.

It was really tasty and eaten as quickly as it was made.

                      • I took a half shoulder of lamb out of the freezer yesterday. I'm going to slow roast it. I think a little Yorkshire pudding, roast parsnip, mashed potato and swede and Savoy cabbage with gravy.
