Cooking Tonight (continued)

Veggie omelettes with a couple of slices of sourdough.

This was cancelled, had toast and Marmite instead, tonight we're having Briam made with frozen San Marzano toms and store bought courgettes.

Today was the Fishman's day so fresh plaice, leftover tartare sauce from yesterday, potato scallops with beer batter, carrots and peas.
I really fancy some cake so I might just make a little victoria sponge for dessert and fill it with homemade jam.

Not often I fancy something sweet but I made a half Victoria sponge ( just one layer halved and stacked)and it was gorgeous filled with my strawberry jam. Some left for supper!

Right, I'm ahead of the game for tomorro thanks to Bren.

Lunch: pizza with chums.
Supper: Briam. There, I have to make it now. Every time you write it, Bren, I think 'yum'. And then I forget. So no forgetting now.

Snoop it's my favourite courgettes dish and it seems along time until mine are ready, so I gave in and used store bought.

Leek and potato soup. Cheap and tasty meal made from allotment produce.

Left over chilli con carne followed by blueberry tart.

Chicken en croûte, roast parsnips, mashed potato and swede, carrots, cabbage and gravy.
Last bit of yesterdays Victoria sponge (unless my husband eats it before then.)

Homemade lasagna topped with home smoked cheese with a homemade garlic tear and share bread and side salad.

Last night Laksa topped with crab meat. Made a bit too much so tonight leftover Laksa with mushrooms, garlic, cashews and lettuce from the lotty.

Beef and beetroot curry out of the freezer. Easy peasy ;-)
