  • Home made chapattis and red lentil dahl (with our own veg; peppers and peas from the freezer, leeks, garlic and chillies).
Sadly that's the last of the leeks and the garlic.
    Location ... Nottingham

      • I've just had what I call egg-and-chips-on-a-plate. So that'll do me for lunch.

Might try making some buckwheat crespelle for supper. If not, there's leftover chicken for Mr Snoop. I'll be happy with just the veg.

            • Omelette (probably mushroom and cheese), either jacket potato (if any of the ones my husband fetched from the allotment shed are a decent size) or sweet jacket potato and roast vegetables.
More of yesterday's trifle. (It sort of came out much bigger than I intended).

              • Home cooked ham, roasted potatoes done in the air fryer and a selection of mixed veg.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                • Herby sourdough crackers and cheese for a lunchtime snack, veggie laksa tonight.

                  • Roast spuds with medium rare fillet steak, carrots, onions and carrot water gravy. Followed by ice cream as we had no milk to make pancakes and I couldn’t be bothered driving to the shops to get some. I must get myself a goat

                      • Steak with sauce (probably pepper), roast vegetables leftover from yesterday mixed with a bit of couscous, onion rings in beer batter and a few chips or garlic bread.
                        Last of the trifle.

                        • Shiitake mushrooms, asparagus and pork tenderloin sitting in the fridge. So a stir-fry looks in the offing for supper.

Not sure about lunch yet. Cheese and crackers, I imagine. That said, what I really fancy is something, anything, that gives me an excuse to light the range to warm the house up.

                              • Kale with walnuts, garlic and goats cheese in white sauce with roast squash, parsnip and beetroot.
That's the last of the squash and also the beetroot.
