Stewed lentils. Doesn't sound very promising put like that, but I love brown lentils. In this case, stewed with leeks, bits of chorizo and black pudding and diced vegetables. Will make a huge pot full so there's plenty for the freezer.

I think I'll set a beef stew off in the slow cooker and make some Yorkshire pudding batter for today.

I think I'll put some of yesterday's stew in a pie dish with a pastry lid and we'll have it with mashed potatoes and broccoli.

Leftovers here too: the pea and leek curry with added green beans plus a spicy turkey burger.

We have some left over roasted veg from last night so I’ll make a chunky ‘soup’ and throw in some pieces of turkey.
