    • Yesterday was leftover stew with fresh bread and butter.

      Tonight will be roast chicken, roast parsnips, mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli and gravy.

      I'm thinking of making a trifle with leftover Christmas pudding in the base....not tried this before.

      • If ever I have any Xmas pud left over , I love it mixed in with ice cream l same too with crumbled mince pies!
        Let us know how you get on with that gf!…sounds interesting.

        OH has asked for a corned beef hash and side salad tonight.
        I’m thinking of making a cheesecake too. If not then it’ll be a fresh fruit salad

              • Today roast chicken leftover from yesterday, garlic bread, salad and coleslaw.

                I never made the trifle yesterday because when I told Mr GF what I was making for the main course he predicted correctly that he would be too full for a pudding.

                • Pork with crackling ( the crackling was a special request to an English butcher as they routinely cut off the skin here )

                  • I've just decided to have beer battered onion rings with the chicken, salad, garlic bread etc so a bottle of beer is now chilling quickly in the freezer. I LOVE crispy onion rings.

                      • Squisotto last night. Soup with the leftover roasted squash for tea tonight. Fish with home-grown broccoli for lunch. The broccoli are just starting to come on song, at last.
