      • Definitely roast chicken tonight. We've got more fruit than I can shake a stick at in the house. So better be some of that for afters.

        • We'be just had the sea bass, mash, veg, and parsley sauce. It was really nice.

          Treats for later may include: chocolate ice lollies, strawberry milkshakes, ripe melon, crumpets, cheese and crackers and/or garlic bread.

              Got any nasturtiums in the garden still? Folks say the green seeds will do as a poor folk's alternative.

              Bol'n'chips tonight.
              Just put a hacked apart haunch of venison into a bowl of Balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and Chianti to marinate for tomorrows casserole.

                • Our usual tagliatelle and bol yesterday, today its the last of the Cornish pasties I made with mashed potatoes, cabbage and carrots.

                  • We ate more healthily than expected last night. For treats we did have mini ice cream lollies, but also had fresh strawberry milkshakes, slices of melon and satsumas.

                    As they seem to be his favourite at the moment I've taken some more Bay scallops out of the freezer. I'll make a cheesy, garlicky sauce with peppers in it and poach the scallops in it. We'll have it with garlic bread, olives and cherry tomatoes.
