Yesterday didn't happen, unsurprisingly. Pasta in the end. Desperate times call for desperate measures...

Off up the valley for supper tonight.

Cornish pastie, chips, peas and gravy.

M and his visitors coming here tonight: Padrón peppers, onion tart, mixed green salad, freekeh salad, possibly an endive, pear and blue cheese salad, but they're bringing fancy cheese for a cheese course, so maybe not. Doubtful we'll want pud after that lot.

OH spotted some salmon in the freezer so has announced that it’s salmon , our own PSB and our own steamed spuds tonight.
maybe a fresh fruit salad for pud….

Pork and Leek sausage tonight, with mashed potato and cabbage. I've also made some carrot and sweet potato mash that I'll risk putting with it in the hope that Himself will try it. I'm sure he will like it unless he asks what it is and goes into Peter Kay mode - "sweet? Potato?"

Yesterday we had roast lamb and sweet potatoes in their skins, cauli cheese and peas with Yorkshire pudding.
I even made a blueberry cheesecake!

Today will be left overs…mmmm….

I'm on supper duty tonight. Salmon trout with courgette, tomato and asparagus en papillote, green beans and julienne potato cake. Chocolate cake and mandarines for afters.

Yesterday mackerel with roasted veg.

This evening pasta and meatballs in a tomato, mushroom and onion sauce.

Chicken justa for Himself, chicken tikka wraps and salad for me.

Calf's liver with mushrooms and mascarpone and rice. Maybe some green beans on the side. Leftover cake for pud.

All change: soup of some kind. We didn't finish brunch till nearly 5 pm. One of those days...

Lentil soup followed by tortilla with coleslaw consisting of kohl rabi, carrot, apple and salad onion with the usual kind of dressing.
