I'm quite surprised no one's giving them a go this year - I'm sure I remember a few growing them in the past *scratches head*.
I quite fancy giving them a try some time as I've wondered if they might do well what with the fruits being not so big as some squashes so maybe ready faster & more prolific?Location: SE Wales about 1250ft up -
I've got 2 plants. The couple of times I tried growing them before they've always been slugged and I never got any fruit.
Fingers crossed for this year. They were planted out just over 2 weeks ago and are looking ok so far.Location: LondonComment

Growing them this year for the first time. They do seem to set fruit faster than my butternuts, picked the first one at about the size of a saucer last week. Slugs got one of my plants early on but the other two are motoring.
