    I just wantecto compare notes.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I'm quite surprised no one's giving them a go this year - I'm sure I remember a few growing them in the past *scratches head*.

I quite fancy giving them a try some time as I've wondered if they might do well what with the fruits being not so big as some squashes so maybe ready faster & more prolific?

I've got 2 plants. The couple of times I tried growing them before they've always been slugged and I never got any fruit.
Fingers crossed for this year. They were planted out just over 2 weeks ago and are looking ok so far.

Growing them this year for the first time. They do seem to set fruit faster than my butternuts, picked the first one at about the size of a saucer last week. Slugs got one of my plants early on but the other two are motoring.
