We had the roast chicken last night with the Moroccan couscous and garlic bread, but we ended having ratatouille instead of salad.
Tonight we'll have more of the chicken but with mixed salad with homemade mayonnaise, and probably more garlic bread or maybe chips......oh, and as an afterthought, maybe a few beer battered onion rings.
Last of the raspberry milk jelly.
I'll also stick the chicken carcass in the slow cooker to make stock, probably to add to my next risotto.

At the moment I am debating between scallop risotto or a quiche of some kind.
I think risotto will win as the oven won't be needed and I'll only need one ring on low.
I'm thinking a mini trifle for pudding...... cherry or raspberry. I just find it so hard to make a "little" trifle. I think I'll try making it in the smallest size Crimbo pud basin.

i never add onion to potato tortilla, Bren, but I do to courgette ones. You don't need much, just enough to add a bit of sweetness to the courgette. Another favourite of mine is a spinach tortilla, no onion but a generous amount of garlic.Originally posted by Bren In Pots View Posta lunchtime four-egg courgette/mushroom tortilla after reading about Snoops.
For us tonight, the last of the fish bonanza: rosefish fillets en papillote with assorted veg, broccoli and green beans on the side. More cherries for afters.

I made Coronation chicken earlier today, except I don't like chicken so it's Coronation turkey. Enough to be able to freeze a couple of portions. The sauce may separate as it has mayo in, but a good stir after defrosting will sort that. The recipe calls for fromage frais, but js and asda had none so I used ricotta instead. Still tastes good. Seems the supermarkets are giving a lot of shelf space to keffir products now, and fromage frais has lost out.
Dessert will be a jelly I made with the last inch of a jar of H/M mixed fruit jam melted into apple juice and set with gelatine.
Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.
