  • I think tonight will be pasta bake (back out of the freezer), garlic bread and salad.

    Maybe a couple of pancakes with orange and sugar for pudding......my husband has been hinting at them for ages.

    • Quail with roast parsnip, mashed carrots, sprouts and peas followed by fruit and yog.

      • ^^^Well I had a phone conversation with my sister and she suggested crepes suzettes instead of plain pancakes (neither of us had made or even eaten this before) but the sauce sounded nice so I had a go. I shall not bother again. The taste was fine but sauce + pancakes = soggy. Some left for the birds for breakfast.

                • Odd, I think my post earlier might have disappeared.

                  Lunch: leftover aubergine parmigiana, eaten very late.
                  Supper: not much if anything.

                  No extras...
                  Location: north-east Spain, where the sun is too hot, the rain too torrential, the hail too big, the wind too windy and the snow too deep. Last frost: usually mid-April, sometimes first week in May. First frost: mid-October.

                      Apricot and walnut cookies for a gift, some for us too, though.
