Bacon and eggs..

Yesterday's chicken didn't happen. The bread was so good we had sausage sandwiches instead. Bet I can't replicate the bread recipe as it was a bit made up to use up assorted odds and ends of different bags of flour.

Lunch: soup and the smidgen of leftover bread, plus some rice pud for afters.
Supper: chicken and veg.

Salmon baked with lemon and capers, potato gratin, carrots and creamed leeks.

Turkey breast, potatoes and lots of veg.

Salmon in a honey & soy marinade with noodles

Had 4 Salmon turn up this afternoon so 3 are now curing ready for smoking

Leftover roast squash and parsnip on sourdough pizza with goats cheese and lettuce

Aubergine Chickpea Bake, with salad and sourdough flat breads.

I really fancy Cornish Pasty today so I'll go make pastry next and we'll have them with mashed potato and swede, carrots, Savoy cabbage and gravy.
Husband is muttering about wanting a pudding so maybe I'll make him a bread and butter pudding (made with pannetone left over from Christmas).

Lunch was spaghetti with a courgette sauce. Supper ought to be doro wat with some mesir wat on the side, with extras to freeze.

Stir fry tonight with peanuts, mushrooms, kale, peppers and onions in black bean sauce, with rice noodles.
