Smoked basa fillets today. I think I'll cook them in milk and top them with a poached egg. We'll have new potatoes, corn on the cob, roast beetroot and padron peppers. Maybe a little Waldorf type salad too.
I really need to start using up all my marrows from last year, so tonight it's a slightly random recipe I found - pasta with scallops, courgettes and tomatoes, modified to use half a marrow.
Starter is prawn cocktail, sticking with the seafood theme.
We had blueberry crumble (blueberries out of the freezer) last night instead of apple. I am still on a mission to reduce the contents of the freezer...... so that there is room for ice lollies/magnums etc.
I think fish pie tonight, (made with some cod out of the freezer), carrots and French beans.
Strawberries, if there are any locally today. If not yoghurt.
