Are those fresh cherries Snoop?
I have plenty in the freezer…but if yours are fresh…then Wow!
Not home grown, sadly. But from a village maybe 10 miles at most from us. I went past the shop just as they were being delivered. Twenty minutes later, they'd already sold kilos and kilos. Everyone in our village waits for the cherries from this village. They are absolutely fantastic. 5 euros a kilo, but money well spent. Next year, when I'm retired..., I'll buy loads for preserves and jam.
Due to the fact that the new air fryer us supposedly being delivered this morning, and I want to try it out, I think we'll have scampi, chips and peas with homemade tartare sauce.
Meatballs with pasta. Some kind of fruit for afters. More cherries if there are any left in the shops when Mr Snoop gets there. If not, fresh pineapple.
Simple result…. I’m defrosting a Spag Bol I made for the camper only the other day…I can always make another few over the next few weeks.
I do love my freezers….I guess they are the nearest thing to a takeaway when you live almost in the middle of nowhere.
Defrosted bread for breakfast too!

I'm thinking of making a scallop and some kind of veg risotto tomorrow. I have very little experience with cooking scallops. Does anyone know if it's better to fry the scallops quickly and add them to the risotto at the end or add them raw, direct to the risotto to poach in the the liquid at the end.
