Last nights smoked haddock rissotto was okay but, for me, not half as nice as our usual prawn or salmon....

Tonight I think will be meatballs in some kind of tomato sauce, maybe spiced up with a bit of chilli in it, garlic bread to dip up the sauce and salad.

Just a simple salad tonight with a philli cheese and smoked trout bagel .

This lunchtime we had salmon and spinach lasagna , beans (….. and chips)

Last night's meatballs with the spicy tomato sauce was a definite hit.

Having inspected the contents of the 'fridge I seem to have an awful lot of mushrooms. I've just taken the second half of the loaf I made at the beginning of the week out of the freezer to defrost so tonight might be either mushroom soup with bread and butter or mushrooms and bacon in a white sauce on toast.

Tonight ended up as mushroom soup with croutons and crispy smoked bacon to sprinkle over the top. Bread and butter.
