Yes, I'm terrible for that. We have a big lump of shoulder of pork in the fridge that I mentioned to Mr Snoop we might have this evening. But it's far too hot to even contemplate it. So I've had a change of plan already.

    • Home made chilli with rice tonight.

No extras. There are bread and flapjacks in the freezer to keep us sorted for a few days.

            • Vegetable and prawn curry with naan bread last night.
I eventually got around to making the lemon curd roulade yesterday after getting rained off at the allotment. It looked amazing and was nice but I still prefer lemon meringue pie. The thing that amazed me about the roulade was that it actually rolled up properly.

                      • Last night was a ham and cheese sandwich and the last of the crème caramels. Lunch was arroz a la cubana.

I'm on my own for lunch, so probably an omelette.

Supper: fish in breadcrumbs and salad.

Might make a lemon, almond and polenta cake. Only might, mind...

                        • Last night was Parma ham and melon followed by tumble salad (with egg and squid in spicy sauce)
                          Plums for pud.

No carbs cos we both had chips the previous night.

Tonight is bbq belly pork with our own French beans and own tomatoes.
                          Own plums for pud.

                              • So, I didn't make the cake yesterday. No real surprise there, eh? Didn't have fish for supper either, as neither of us was hungry enough.

                                Lunch: fish and salad
                                Supper: open Spanish tortilla

Plus, Dan Lepard's raisin and cinnamon loaf and some sourdough crackers. As I've already got the starters on the go, they're definites. Honest.
