Found some stuff in the fridge that needed using up yesterday, so today is what we should have had yesterday. Minus the baked apples but plus mandarines.Living in north-east Spain, where the sun is too hot, the rain too torrential, the hail too big, the wind too windy and the snow too deep.

Lunch: the first thing that came to hand in the freezer: 'roast' pork. Maybe I need to shuffle things up a bit! Cabbage and bacon plus maybe some mash with some old potatoes that are past their best.

Yesterday's Yorkshire puds were the best yet. Looks like all the recent practice has paid off.
Lunch today: a Spanish dish, chickpeas baked with a bit of black pudding and fresh (not dried) chorizo, garlic and tomatoes.
Probably won't want much if anything for supper after that lot.

I made a deep quiche yesterday using up 3 mutton sausages, peas, tomatoes, and a small amount of stuffing. Will serve that with beans and sautéed onions.
