I did give the rest of the carrot cake away. His sister has already texted me, "best cake she has ever eaten".

    • Bulgar and feta salad. Eleven home grown items on a plate.
In the salad - courgettes, sungold toms, spring onions, hot wax, garlic, DFB's, carrots, red onion and basil.
On the side, shredded radicchio (tossed in olive oil, lime juice and sea salt) and cucumber raita (left over from yesterday)

          • Lunch: piperade and salad (didn't have it yesterday as not hungry for some reason)
Supper: home-made spaghetti in courgette, cream and black pepper sauce, water melon granita for afters.

More bread. Last cool night of the season, I think, so be good to get one in for the freezer. Plus some buns/biscuits for the freezer while the range is on.

                      • OK, so none of what I posted except the spaghetti, but with a sausage ragù. Just as well you don't have to plan in advance when to breathe as I wouldn't have survived very long.
