Vegetarian tagine, apparently. (Going up the valley for it.)

Plus, the usual bread and have made madeleine mixture for baking tomorrow. Brilliant recipe for when you've got no butter.

Thanks, Bren, yes. Yesterday didn't go according to plan. For once it was better: blue cheese and walnut salad followed by sausage and saffron risotto. Chocolate for afters. Iranian saffron - was surprised at the difference it made.

Today's lunch: peanut butter on toast
Supper: the carrot burgers that should have been made yesterday.

    Bread and madeleines.

Was a bit worried I was coming down with the lurgy: made a veg curry last night and it tasted a bit weird to me. Others reported it was normal. But seem to be OK this morning. Fortunately! Coffee tastes just as good as it should. Also made a load of bread yesterday.

    Today: hummus for lunch.
Supper: homemade carrot, chickpea and sesame seed burgers. They're a bit collapsible, but I love the taste.
Also: the big bun cook today.
