OK, so far today, French-style madeleines (general agreement is much nicer than the olive oil ones but any madeleine is better than no madeleine) and the Rondo bites from the Weekend Bakery site are winners. Big thumbs up from me, though it took me a while to work out how to get them out the tin.

So, lunch was a camembert sandwich in homemade baguette.
Supper: pasta and something or other sauce.

Got to finish off the half white, half granary loaf. Dough smells fantastic (made with biga).

Lunch: blue cheese and walnut salad, mushroom risotto.
Supper: soup, which is really just an excuse to eat bread as far as Mr Snoop is concerned.

Another cool night due, so will make another round of loaves. I use 740 g of flour to make four ciabatta-size loaves. One and a half down already since baked yesterday, one promised to D up the valley and it's a while since we checked on on X down the valley. Wouldn't mind taking him one and some rondo bites. So more bread required. Baguettes this time and poolish for a half white, half granary loaf tomorrow.
Also, pizza dough to sit in the fridge for a few days before using and the famous rondo bites that I still haven't made.

Lunch: roast pork (from freezer) plus assorted veg.
    Supper: more soup.

Didn't make bread yesterday. Day got away from me. Really must today. And while range is on, will try and make something sweet for freezer. Also need to get some pizza dough on the go.
