    Tonight is leftover mash topped chicken (found some to use) ham and leek pie with veg again

    Yesterday was swordfish served with a Greek spinach and feta pie followed by fruit.
    tonight will be harissa chicken cooked with peppers and onions and rice followed by damson cobbler and homemade custard.

    Yesterday went a bit awry: supper was the vegetable and chorizo paella that we didn't have the other day because that went awry. Frozen yog for pud.

    It's absolutely pouring down here today, so lunch will be soup; supper will be misir wat.

    Ham and leek pie sounds a lot nicer though!

    I have some cooked ham to use, so thinking creamy ham and leek pie but topped with mash rather than using pastry. Served with brocolli , cabbage and peas .

    Two nights ago OH made a celebratory meal.
    Real champers and asparagus in the garden followed by duck breast , chips and peas, followed by our own lettuce and cheese and his homemade bread, followed by a home made trifle.
    yum!

    Last night was pasta with a tumble salad made with our own lettuce and quail eggs and various bought veggies.

    not sure yet about today's food....

    Yesterday, up the valley for home-made gnocchi in a gorgonzola sauce with walnuts. Then back to our place for madeleines straight out the oven with cream and jam for pud. We cannot keep this up, surely?!

    Also made a load of bread for the freezer.

    Today, lunch will be sandwiches with something.
    Supper: Misir wat.

    Also, going to try making a Tarta de Santiago. And then no more cakes for at least a few days, promise. (No promises on biscuits, mind.)

    Will be having an other bbq .
    spicy peri peri chicken fillet
    Salt and pepper chicken fillet
    Honey and lime pork kebabs
    served with a green salad (some little leaves of home grown too) and potato salad

    Last night was chinese ribs and spicy chicken fillets on the bbq with salad.

    Tonight is steak on the bbq , tomato mozz and basil salad and new pots.
