Tomorrow & the week ahead,I need to put BFB around the broccoli I planted a while ago & plant more broccoli somewhere. Dig up my garlic. Harvest the rest of this bag of Charlotte potatoes & use the compost for a tomato,marigold & pepper that are waiting. Plant out the sunflowers. Plant out other marigolds (about three). Put blowaway 2 in the shed & put pots of tomatoes in its place. Feed the plants. Keep pinching off the grapevines new growth,keep stopping it from grabbing the neighbours huge blossom tree,separated them both yesterday. Check the tomato stakes are all sturdy,some heavy plants I added two extra canes so far for support. I worry as soon as the wind comes they could come down or snap. Keep an eye on tomato sideshoots,tie in melons,cucumbers & tomatoes. Sow swede,rocket & lettuce.

We had an absolute deluge on Saturday with over 40mm rain and it rained all Sunday afternoon as well, so most of the attention was on collecting and redistributing water, and emptying out drip trays so that plants don't drown! All the storage at home is now full and I have replenished about half of it at the allotment. Also planted some lettuce seedlings.
