Looks like we’re all having the same sort of weather!
I managed to get my Zonal red geraniums from the market for our window boxes… the guy stuck a long stemmed rose in the tray of 12 and handed them to my OH. I jokingly asked why does he get one and not me?…to which he laughed and put a second one in!
How kind was that?

I’ve got to get them planted out today between showers.
So…the sun has just appeared so I best crack on!

Afternoon all.

Good walk this morning with Jack. I'm increasing the length of the walk and adding in more hills, but it's impossible to wear him out. Good exercise for me, though. Nice and cloudy when we set off (and got back), but it's sweltering hot now.

All I want to do now is have a nap, but too much work to do. Quicker I get it done, the sooner I can inspect my eyelids.

Sounds like your toms are enjoying life in your care, GF. Mine are barely a few inches tall...

Good morning (well it is after midnight).

I met up with my sister yesterday lunchtime. We planned on eating at a pub in the next village, but when we got there at 1pm we found it doesn't open until 2pm on Fridays., contrary to what Google says. We went up to the garden centre instead and ate there. The food was okay but it was really nice to chat to my sister.

I got some tomato food as I left .... I'm obviously an optimist.

I am struggling to drop to sleep now. I have tried just about everything.

Florence Fennel, have you really got fairies at the bottom of yor garden? I'm sure they'll love the tomatoes. I think the difference between shop bought and home grown tomatoes is unbelievable.

Snoop Puss, maybe you should get a doggy treadmill for Jack to tire him.

I hope everyone else is sleeping better than I am.
