  • I have Cheethams Potato leaved [ medium sized red toms] and Black and Brown Boar [ like a black version of tigerella]
I must admit to not being that impressed by the flavours, but it has been a carp year, so I will grow them again next year.
[As an aside, i did notice of the tomatoes that got blight outside this year, the Indigo Rose [Blue OSU] fought it off a lot longer than any other tomato.
I do have Black Russian, but not a lot. - did anyone notice their big resemblance to PWs French Black?
    So, that's my three

    • And one more question.....did anyone else have trouble with their seeds this year when fermenting? Mine took longer than 3 days [which they've always taken in the past] and even when I swished them after 4 days they could have done with longer....

        • This has happened with some Slovenian Blacks that I am fermenting, after 7 days there is still gel around the seeds.I put it down to the weather being on the cold side.
I hope this is Ok since they are a nice tomato and I want to grow them again next year.

                • Oh dear I have had a dreadful year - I have enough Matina for about two seeds each if you are still interested. Maybe Incy had some better luck with them. Not one single white oxheart. I have now cleared some space in my pm inbox Davyburns!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                      • Apologies as its my first time swapping seeds.

Could somebody be so kind as to reconfirm what needs to go in the envelop?
                        Seeds
SAE (with the same postage as it will cost to send the seeds in the first place)
                        Anything else?

I have ready to send....Kibits Ukraine, Hahnstown Yellow and Baby Yellow Pear.

I've noticed that some of your members have dropped out due to catastrophe. I would like to join and fill a vacancy. For my two varieties, I would like to offer Galina's Yellow(Siberian heirloom) and Wladeks(a heritage variety). Davy is willing to help me in the logistics department.

                            I await your response.

                            Cheers.

Are you in? I'm going to be bagging mine up tonight....

                              • I'm not sure the logistics of this would make it worthwhile, but if there are no objections to Dusty joining, I will add him/her
