The weather got out nice so I'm sat outside with a mug of tea, the dog has brought me the dirtiest scratty looking toy she could find.
Done some cutting back but my foot is hurting in my wellies so I think I will sow seeds instead.

OH spotted the malt bread so I mentioned the conversation here. He reminded me that toasted is completely different. Crispy outside and soft inside.

Morning all
Hot crumpets and croissants at the ready, a pot of coffee for those who like it and a pot of tea for some of us
Doggie decided she needed out by barking at 2am so we couldn't sleep, OH ended up getting up at 3, a bit earlier than needed but is already at work. Will all be asleep early tonight.

Weather looks a bit of a mixed bag so will flow along. Planning to make some jam though.
Didn't do domestics yesterday so I perhaps should make an effort today.

Can I have tea, please, CG, if there's some left in the pot? I'll pass on the crumpets, I like too much butter on them to be remotely healthy. Ditto croissants. (Sigh). Trying to eat healthy is hard sometimes.

Clear skies and sunny so far, but the forecast says rain by teatime. It keeps promising me rain and not sending any.

Constantly playing catch-up yesterday. I mean who in her right minds gets home seven minutes before the lunch guest arrives, with the car to unpack and lunch still to be started? Me, that's who. Just as well Mr Snoop was so glad to see someone other than me that he and E kept each other entertained. Lovely lunch.

One of the things I picked up was a pair of the sprays you recommended, GF. So they'll be coming into play today.

Anyway, probably going to be playing catch-up again today. Malt loaf will have to wait till towards the end of the week so it's good and sticky at the weekend.

Jack is harassing Mr Snoop for play so I'd better go out. Much later than usual, which is probably why he's playing up.
