Evening all.

Mr Snoop is enjoying his new chair, LD. As he can't lie down, he's been struggling to sleep, but a lot more comfy now. I unpacked a recumbent exercise bike for him today. Just the unpacking was plenty of exercise for me! Will put it together tomorrow and he can at least get his legs working a bit more. Poor man. He's finding it difficult sitting around. Mind you, he's got very good at giving me jobs to do! I think he must be channeling Mrs Rary.

Good to hear the chair has arrived, hopefully some better rest now. The bike will help strengthen his legs, I don't know how the system works over there, has he had any physio help?

Weather is a mixed one, more showers and wind too today. Will call for some shopping for mum and see her. Don't think we will be gardening but we have a new hose to show her how to use. It's an extendable fabric outer which shrinks back down in size when the water is turned off. I have one for the back garden it's much easier I find.

Taste tested my blackcurrant gin last night. Nice ribena
I wonder how I could flavour one for a festive flavour.

The dog is giving me the 'stare' so I better feed her

Forecast says light rain and gusty for us today so not to bad. No bacon here Flo instead egg, mushroom and roasted tomato cob. Very tasty.

Morning all.

Hoping to get Mr Snoop's MRI scan results tomorrow, CG. Then we'll know what the options are. At the moment, he's doing exercises he got off the internet and I'm doing massage. The gin sounds good, by the way.

Had a better walk with Jack today. Frankie joined us and Jack was quite well behaved with him by his standards, even when I stopped to pick a tub of big, fat blackberries. Jack did quite well, helping himself to the lower ones. Got himself enough that he didn't try and persuade me to stop at the fig tree on the way back.

Beans on toast for breakfast in a bit, then a bike to assemble and work to get through. Definitely a nap at some point. And a blackberry and apple crumble and blackberry ice lollies to make. Sounds like a good day.

And we had sausage, egg and beans with sourdough after our walk, cooler breeze but sunny. Slow progress as Pearl like to pick and eat her own blackberries.

Tried the jams , gooseberry perfect sweetness but the blackcurrant needs more sugar (I used less) , can I just chuck it back in the pan with more sugar?

morning all,looks nice outside,blue grey sky with the sun doing ok,good news about the chair snoop,i can vouch for them,i love mine to bits,have had better sleep in it than in the bed,think it's the fact you can get just that right position to suit your body,in fact i got 2,one a manual reclines in it's own space,and the one with two motors on a remote,the only down side is ,you need space at the back of the chair so it can recline,my favorite is the first one,as it is better cushioned,both need electric to work,the hose sounds interesting CG,have a nice day all,

It's very windy here and the sun has taken it's bat home again. We, supposedly, might get rain this afternoon.

Snoop, it's good to hear that Mr Snoop can get comfortable in his new chair. Good luck with the results of the scan.

How on earth does Jack manage to pick his own blackberries without scratching his nose/face?

^I have no idea. Our previous dogs were big blackberry pickers too.
