    Good morning all.
Bright and dry but still chilly,
Out with my friends for lunch this morning.
A long phone call with my sister this afternoon do it looks like nothing major will be achieved today,

Snoop, glad the visit to the dentist wentvwelwent well
No shortage of anything in the stores here.
We have one of those huge Tesco stores in my area but takes an age to get around it.
We have Lidl, and Aldi, also two Irish owned ones, Dunnes stores and Supervalu.
Prices of everything has shot up, all blaming it on covid.

Anyway, have a good day sll whatever you're doing.

    Mornin n’alln’all

Glad your visit to the dentist went ok Snoop - I kept thinking about you!

I’m due for a grory hop either today or tomorrow - will let you know the state of their shelves / petrol prices. Be interesting to see if France might be experiencing a similar thing?
Fish….one reason might have been the horrendous weather - can you imagine fishing in those storms? Mind you, it’s fresh fish so that mightn’t apply.

I really don’t want to swim today - first opportunity this week. It’s only open for an hour at lunchtime( very quiet) ( or very busy
evening session) but there’s an aqua fit sesh on today at the same time with ‘shouty man’ instructor it’s awful - very, very loud techno music , so loud he has to use a megaphone I’ve plenty of other things I could do instead, and just go tomorrow. The grory hop would be after the swimming sesh.

Are you painting again today bramble? Our bedroom doors need doing if you run out of doors!

Chocolate eclairs CG?…yum! They don’t do cream ones here - just coffee or chocolate creme filled for some reason. Custard would be a lovely alternative too!
I’ve had a few days of crisis on my diet too so don’t beat yourself up - it’ll happen when you are ready to say no to things again.

    Right- enjoy your day peeps

^Perhaps just in Spain, Bren. Not sure why it might be. It's one of Spain's better chains of supermarkets and this particular branch is in a good location. Just seemed very odd. Mr Snoop noticed it too. We were shopping at lunchtime, which is always quieter, but for the shelves to contain so little stock and not the usual variety was a surprise.

    Morning

Snoop I've not spotted any problems while doing our Grory hop yesterday, it was mid afternoon and Aldi seem to be constantly restocking their shelves. We do have a Tesco in walking distance but the stores just to large and its always busy.

Gardening today sorting out compost bins and planting potatoes not to sure after that.

    Morning all.

Nice day out with Mr Snoop yesterday. The visit to the dentist was the easy one. Future ones look like they'll be longer and more troublesome. But I'll be glad to get it out the way.

Did a grory shop while we were out. Same shop but very different to previous visits: reduced range and the shelves considerably less than fully stocked. I commented on the lack of fish at the fishmonger's counter and the assistant told me they weren't bringing much in these days. Maybe there's an unreported recession underway? And fuel prices have shot up too at our local petrol station.

Got a friend coming round for a socialising and strimming session. Be nice to see her. She's a really jolly person. Today and tomorrow morning are the last mad work days. Be good to get back outdoors and do a bit of seed sowing too.

    Have a great day, everyone.

    Good evening all.
    What a miserable day.
It rained all day, that drizzle that soaks right into you. No breeze and just 8 degs.
Painted one of the downstairs doors. I was going great until my daughter called in.
So, the painting was abandoned and we spent the evening making a jigsaw.
Now looking after my grandson and waiting for his dad to come for him.
    Have a good evening all.

Afternoon, we’ve been out for our Grory hop arriving home just as the rain started. The store was practically empty of shoppers so a quick in and out, back home for a mug of tea and slice of fruit loaf.

    Afternoon all.

Had an eye appointment this morning at the Infirmary. I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment as per the letter I received, sat in the waiting area for 65 minutes past the appointment time, then was in and out in under 2 minutes. What a waste of a morning. Especially as I knew parking would be difficult, so I left time enough to park about a mile away and walk.

I had an email from MS corp today to the effect that support for windows 10 will be ending and my PC is not suitable to upgrade to windows 11, so I should do them a big favour and buy a new computer. Bl@@dy cheek!

    Good morning all.
Looking dull this morning and rain forecast for later.
I have the last few seed potatoes to plant out.
After that I think I will continue with the painting.

Snoop, try to get as much as possible done when you visit the dentist, that way you eont have it hanging over you when you're in the UK.

Enjoy the morning outing with Mrs Rary.

    Have a good day all,

    Thanks Containergardener for the info.

Rain started here so I’ve decided to finish knitting a hat for my daughter. Basically just tassels instead of a bobble so it fits better inside a hood. Shouldn’t take long but it’s on my tick list.
I should start my Domestic Goddess duties at some point too…

Good morning, cloudy but dry this morning, I actually got a couple of photos loaded using an old tablet, and when I see them I don't know why I bothered anyway as I also posted I will cover the area with wood chip which should help cover a multitude of sins.
Will be going out today as OH wants to try a short walk outside, so have suggested an area, sheltered, flat and where we can have a coffee once finished, this will be the first she has been out for a walk for almost a year, other than doing some shopping where she has a shopping trolly t,o hold onto for support, have a good day and smile
