Good afternoon, raining at present, was getting up the back of six when OH said she needed to get up for the toilet, so helped her up, the back into bed where she went back to sleep, woke again about half eight and I gave her her breakfast then all her tablets, once all that was finished I asked her if she had been lying awake waiting for me to move earlier, but no she woke up when I moved,so I need to move a bit more quietly but also told her to waken me if she needs to get out of bed,
Good evening, I should maybe mark this as part 2, I had started the first part early afternoon, but between folk phoning and popping in to see OH the day had been busy, however OH was quit happy about that, and now we are going to settle down for a quiet evening and possibly an early night, strange how you view of things change as life progresses, I can recall when an early night was different from going to bed to get a good night's sleep, in the past it meant going to get peace to read a book now adays all I need to do is take out my hearing aid and the TV becomes a faint noise in the background, anyway I wish you all a good night's sleep and pleasant dreams.

Still half an hour till sunrise The weather is doing nothing in particular as far as I can see. Good to hear Mrs Rary had another good night's sleep, hopefully she is healing well.

Flo, that's why I didn't look at pre-lit trees, eventually one part is going to stop working and you either have to get a new tree or string your own lights. The warranty is usually only for 3 years. If it is a bulb that's gone, it can't be easy to check and find it, unlike a string where you can lay them all out.

Sunny here but cold enough to light the fire in the bedroom when Mr Snoop woke me up before the crack of dawn. Anyway, a nice start to the day, if a bit early...

Work and billing on the cards for today with lunch up the valley in the middle.

Hope Mrs Rary and Mr GF both had a good night's sleep. You too, GF and Nicos.

Pah…rubbish sleep followed by only just waking up now!

We did get the tree decorated yesterday and it’s looking lovely. So chuffed.

We are off to the vets today with Hibou. Her 3 monthly cardio ultrasound is due today so we’ve combined the visit to include a full check up with one of the other vets. She’s not been herself for a couple of weeks and lost weight. Pretty sure it’s her kidneys…so we are bracing ourselves.Fingers crossed please peeps.

Apart from that visit this afternoon, we have nothing else planned. So I’d like to get all the rest of the decorations we won’t need put away .

We both have lots off errands to do today so it will be a busy day.

We've not had a Christmas tree for years, it must be over 10, but we do decorate the mantlepiece, mirror and hang robins from the wall lights. So we do look at bit festive.

Rary hope you and MrsR both slept well.

Its going to be a dry day here. I'll finally be able to collect those leaves and give the garden a tidy.

Good afternoon, it's raining here just now and the forecast is for high winds so hopefully I won't need to be going out, I had to,go to the see the nurse this morning as I have a poisoned toe, I should have went to see about it last week but other things happened, anyway now on antibiotics and to go back to see her again, as for OH fortunately is now managing to sleep most of the night, and possibly just as well she's not moving about too much as she would be rattling with every move wirh all the pills she needs to take just now, but thankfully she is improving, I now need to go and take hercglasses off, there's too much dust been noticed when she can sit and look around now off to make the lunch so have a good day and pass on your smiles

Afternoon All Frank's here so have been preoccupied! Dry but dull and cold. I risked hanging out the washing but it looks like rain is on the way.
The lights were only guaranteed for one year MH, so I should have guessed it was on the cards.
Glad to hear Mrs rary is improving.

Rary, I sympathise or empathise or both. I’ve had an infected toe from an ingrown toenail for ages. I’ve had antibiotics and still it’s there. Very painful!!!

Chilly start to the day. Hard frost outside. But should be mostly bright today. I'll be indoors doing all the stuff I should have done over the long weekend but didn't...

It's raining and still seems barely light outside, so it will be an indoor day for me though I do need to pop to the library as my books are due back. I may just renew online if the rain doesn't ease off.

It's not light yet here. Miserable, dark and raining. I've not posted for a couple of days as I've not been very well and would only have moaned non stop. (I'm not good company when I 'm in pain). I'm feeling a lot better today though. Mr GF has just woke up. I asked him how he feels. He says he's "happy".
