Good evening all.
Weather was lovely for most of the day.
Planted garlic, deadhead the dahlias and did some weeding.
We dont do bonfire night on the 5th but have Halliween on 31 of October.
Bonfires were banned here as well with the lockdown.
Not a lot of other news so have a good evening all.

Evening all, after a wet morning the skies cleared and we went for a walk round the lanes, it's now freezing fog out there, went to see if there's any Bats about, I think they might be hibernating and I think I might just join them, night all.

Morning all.

Grey and damp out there. Drizzled all night. More of the same for the next few days. In fact, it's raining quite hard right now.

The Battle of the Basement against the rats is not over. By chance I was down there yesterday when it started raining and I heard something rummaging around in the pile of stones I've put over the breach in the walls. Managed to scare them off. But the rats are definitely trying to move back in.

Had a nice morning yesterday. Spoke to more people in two hours than I've spoken to in the last two months and more.

Friend from up the valley is back from his cross-Spain travels. Set off before the lockdown. Heading back to the UK on Friday. Anyway, we're hosting lunch for today and tomorrow but keeping at a good distance.

Morning all. Meeting my Son at 10.00am to go fishing in case tomorrow is the last day we will be able to go. We will naturally observe social distancing and have a four mile stretch of water to fish on.

Frost does make the garden look pretty my GH looked like it was made from frosted glass. Perfect weather to wrap up warm and go for a stroll.

Morning, after a glorious sun rise, it's going all cloudy but still cold, 3.2 inside the greenhouse last night, so close to a frost, the big hills look white, but that might be frost, see ya later and stay safe all.

A good days fishing with not a fish in sight.Anyway, who goes fishing to catch fish? Sun was shining and it was nice to get a breath of fresh air,
OH was expecting a fish for supper so I went to Aldi after fishing and bought some fish for supper.

It was sunny but cold today. I would have spent a couple of hours at the allotment but I just felt really rough for most of the day and just didn't have the energy. Feeling back to normal now I am glad to say.
