          • Yesterday's pizza was a really nice change. It was only a ready made frozen one from the supermarket, but I cut it in half, and left half in the freezer for another day.

Chicken leg, cooked in the air fryer today. I'm still trying to decide on what to have with it.

                    • Not tonight, but yesterday:- I got 2.75kg of last year's Morello cherries out of the freezer and added them to 600g of demerara sugar and 2litres of rum in a 5litre Kilner jar (the sort that's got a tap on it).

Last year, we discovered that the inlet to the tap is just the right size to get blocked by a cherry. That leads to a rather disappointing rate of flow. This time, I've got a bit of stainless steel mesh out of the workshop, formed into a sort of ball shape and held it on to the tap with a cable tie. The tap works perfectly.

Just got to wait a few weeks for the cherries to soak into the rum.
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)
