      More Victoria sponge. The remnants can then go in the freezer for use in the base of a future trifle.

        • Indian spiced courgette, chickpea and feta fritters, with salad and maybe a fried egg on top.
          Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

                        • I bought a nice piece of salmon, so certainly enough for tonight and tomorrow with our potatoes and runner beans with a creamy lemon sauce.

                          • I've got half a pack of smoked bacon to use up. I think I'll go down the traditional route and at some point we'll have an "All day breakfast".

                            • I've got loads of aubergines, tomatoes and peppers that need using, so I think I'll take the simple one pot route and roast them down slowly to make a thick chunky, gloopy sauce with lots of evoo and herbs. I'll have some tonight with some kind of bean chucked in and sausages that need using, then I will freeze the rest if there is room!

                              How I wish I had a second freezer for all the homegrown goodies.

                              • Cauli do piaza with lemon rice. Feels like we might be due a proper pud... Plum tart appeals. Especially if I can rustle up some cream.
