I think today’s will be something created with whatever is in the fridge which needs eating up. Another sort of mishmash ‘buffet’ type meal!

Beef stew and dumplings. I don't think we'll need afters, but there are plenty of ice cream lollies if we do

Baked potatoes with mató cheese and salad. Not sure about pudding. Perhaps nothing.

In other news, it looks like the https://www.dianekochilas.com/greek-recipes/ website is working again. Certainly, I've had a look down her beans and pulses recipes.

Ran out of time last night, so had doro and misir wat from the freezer. Try for baked pots and mató with salad tonight. Melon for afters.

Having checked the dates on everything in my shopping delivery, I have lots of choice for tonight. I'm thinking a leek and smoked mackerel risotto as I got 2 bags of organic leeks in the online delivery for the price of the one loose leek that I ordered. I'll throw in some frozen peas and sweetcorn too.

The default desserts at the moment, unless I've made something special, are either ice creams of some kind or mini easy peelers (satsumas or whatever they are). I bought a big bag on Tuesday thinking that if they were a bit sour, I'd make marmalade with them, but they are really sweet and juicy.

Last night we had salad- OH had sausages and chips with it, I had turkey steak and veg couscous

Tonight chicken thighs and trying a merchant gourmet thai lentil curry thing, maybe with salad and a wrap or pitta
