Tonight will be a tumble salad featuring salmon and egg as star ingredients

I've some chicken thighs and leftover new potatoes to figure something out with.

I'm struggling to think of something for tonight. Originally it was to have included a salad, but it really is not salad weather today. Shiver, shiver.

Now I'm debating the merits of either duck spring rolls with noodles and stir fried veg, or soup with bread and butter, or fish fingers with sweet potato wedges, veg and homemade tartare sauce or even fish pie as I really fancy some mashed potatoes.

Maybe a sneaky little blueberry crumble for dessert. I've got blueberries in the freezer and some "ready rubbed in" crumble in the fridge.

It looks like our veggie frittata will end up being served with thick slices of lamb as next doors had a bbq of a whole leg of lamb and they had too much left!
Cant complain about that!

Decision made eventually. I ended up making us mushroom soup for lunch.

We'll have duck spring rolls, stirfried vegetables and noodles eith a soy and honey sauce later.
