Cooking Tonight #5

[Florence Fennel]

Lasagne and salad. Ice cream lolly. I've got some really tasty fruity ones from the man who "he say yes"

I think a big salad with scampi tonight. Maybe a few new potatoes.

Cornetto for Mr GF, maybe crackers and blue cheese for me.

Tomorrow the supermarket will supposedly have the Biscoff ice cream lollies in stock again, and at half price. There are two packs on my online shopping list.

The new potatoes turned into sweet potato wedges cooked in the air fryer. I've cooked sweet potato wedges in the oven before but never thought they were anything special. 20 minutes in the air fryer .... perfection, crispy outside and soft in the middle. Leftover tomato sauce (from the aubergine parmigiano) to dip them in.

Cod with courgettes in a tomato sauce. Rice maybe? Greengages for afters.

Better be a bread day too.

Last night chilli and salad

Tonight omelette and salad as OH will be late.

Tonight smoked haddock. I'm thinking with mashed potatoes, parsley sauce, carrots and French beans.

Ice creams for dessert.

BBQ chicken with french beans and potatoes
Bakewell pudding for pud.

Not sure about pud yet…

Tonight aubergine parmigiano with garlic bread and a side salad.

Strawberries and cream if there are any nice strawberries wanting to hijack me when I go out.

Sausage risotto with salad. Nectarines for afters in theory. But if they're a bit hard, homemade ice lolly made using tinned peaches, Greek yogurt and a squizzle of agave syrup.

I’ve got two large clafoutis in the oven at the moment.
Both mirabelle but one has an almond base.
We’ll be having some of those for pud then the rest will be frozen
