Decided on a tumble salad. Entertaining clearly doesn’t agree with my waistline
All our own salad and radish and spring onions…also eggs, so it’s just dried apricots and tomatoes which we’ve not produced. Guest ingredients are bought…gnocchi stuffed with mozzarella and tomatoes, and chicken breast.

Mixed homegrown fruit from the freezer ( making way for this year’s harvest!) in a crumble served with Calvados icecream.

Spaghetti with pea and courgette sauce. Yogurt for afters.

Edited: much to my surprise, Mr Snoop has asked for leek and pea curry. No rice as we had that at lunch.

Re-edited: we ended up having beans on toast. For the first time in ages. And very nie they were too.

I’m defrosting some large Toulouse sausages and chorizo sausages, and some turkey breast, so it’ll be sausages or turkey kebabs and a salad tonight, and the other on Tuesday.

Off out this evening. M up the valley is arriving this evening, so to make life easy we're off out for supper. My favourite local place. I know what's on the menu so probably gazpacho, gilthead bream and ice cream for afters, though I might change my mind... Unlikely, but I might.

Tonight we've had cheese and onion crispbakes, corn on the cob, tonic battered onion rings, and garlic bread. Strawberries and cream for Mr GF. Blue cheese and crackers for me later.

The pea and leek curry with lemon rice we should have had yesterday (stuffed pasta and salad instead - quicker to make).

Edited: sorry to hear about the pasties, Flo. Not what you expect from them. And I bet Mr GF is wolfing down his suppers, GF. That sounds like a proper feast.
