Butter beans in tomato sauce (sounds better if I call it Gigandes plaki!), possibly with sausages, if not, with fish.

No rain…in fact it’s incredibly humid and sunny- even now. So pizza it was.
Melon and Parma ham to start with and salad from our garden.
Too full for the fresh fruit salad I’d made.

Well, it was going to be a curry. Then a bbq, and now it looks like it’ll be a chicken and sweet potato casserole.

Going a bit posh today: hasselback courgettes with harissa, butter bean dip and dukkah, plus spicy choricet sausages (fresh chorizo bangers meant for cooking with).

Sole with potatoes and veg yesterday, today our unusual tagliatelle and Bol.

Roast chicken with assorted veg (just as well the oven is in the garage...).

Edited: too hot and close today, so we're changing to gazpacho and fruit.

Last night was fried eggs, bacon, onions, mushrooms and baked beans, followed by Eaton Mess.

Lunchtime today was lamb steaks with mashed spuds, carrots, mangetout peas, kohlrabi, fried onions and mushrooms with much mint sauce.
