At the moment I'm thinking of pasta bake tonight with garlic bread and salad (as long as I go pick some greenery at the allotment).... oh and leftover Waldorf salad from yesterday.

              Slight change of plan
Three tray roasts are in the oven but OH said he fancied lasagne so he’s making a mushroom lasagne!
He’s a much better cook than I am so I’m more than happy for him to experiment.
Me?….I got out my Xmas jigsaw Well - it’s almost weekend eh?

I also decided to make a savoury ‘cake’ first time ever for nibbles pre supper.
not salty enough tbh - probably because the original recipe had more lardons and olives than I had.
Still good with salty butter though!

I think i speak for all of us when i say we're going to need a recipe. This sounds like something i need to try - Savoury check, Lardons check, salty butter check!

This is the recipe I sort of followed but used SR flour instead

Apparently you can add almost anything.
I added chopped courgette and tuna as I didn’t have enough lardons and olives. Deffo needed more salt with that exchange.

There are loads of savoury cake recipes out there.

                          It freezes well too!

Pork Jalfrezi for us last night (using fresh coriander and toms and the last of the fresh peppers) served with lettuce in chapatti wraps.

Salmon and cauliflower cheese. One of our favourite meals.

                                Bread, I guess.

Thanks for the recipe, Nicos. Sounds yumptious.
