Roast lamb with sweet potato and raggedy kale, followed by salad and cheese , then fresh fruit salad and ice cream.

More of the ham I roasted yesterday, jacket potatoes, Waldorf salad and beer battered onion rings.

Ham, roasties and lots of veg.
Last of the cheese, grapes and crackers.
Glass of red to wash it all down.

Stir fried Mushrooms, carrot slivers and Three-cornered leek in soy sauce with couscous.

Had goat curry which had been marinated in yoghurt and spices overnight, then in the slow cooker all day. Beetroot soup for the freezer simmering away on the hob.

More soup for lunch, possibly with sandwiches.

Pork and assorted veg for supper. Christmas pud if we've got room for it.

Lamb steaks, mashed potatoes with swede, carrots and sprouts with gravy and homemade mint jelly.

Christmas pudding and brandy cream to follow.

What we should have had yesterday. Both got terrible colds and neither of us felt like eating much.

Avocado, celery, tomato, onion and rocket salad, beer battered prawns with homemade Rose Marie sauce and chips. Maybe some bread and butter so I can have a little chip butty.

Sausage casserole with a slice or 2 of sourdough.

Roast pork with all the trimmings. Late lunch, early tea.
