As I sadly discovered white onion rot in my allium patch today, a large pot of French onion soup is currently bubbling away on the stove.

Snoop I made a lame for slashing my loaves out wood, a thumb screw and a razor blade its really a handy tool to have.

In the end, we had sausage and saffron risotto followed by apple and ricotta cake.

D has requested toad in the hole tonight. Had the range on late last night to bake bread. Much too hot in the kitchen. Due for a bit of rain today, but can't bear the idea of baking again and earlier. If I do, I'll make some flapjacks and a tarta de Santiago for the freezer.

Home cooked ham, roast potatoes and mixed veg.

Chicken breasts stuffed with sausage and mozzarella cooked ina tomato ,olives and garlic sauce . Hoping to find a few spinach leaves to add from the greenhouse if they've grown enough. Shall have with salad(homegrown)

Last night knocked up a quick meal with onions, garlic, celery, toms, garden herbs and freshly podded broad beans. Served onto linguine and topped with grated cheese.

Homemade burgers tonight

Kale as crispy fried seaweed, Stir-fried veg, asparagus in oyster sauce and rice noodles.

Saag aloo tonight with rice and flat breads.

Last night was spicy duck with noodles followed by our own strawberries and ice cream

Tonight is asparagus followed by steak, broccoli, gnocchi and mushrooms in a creamy sauce followed by more of our own strawberries.

Lobia recipe from Manjula's Kitchen website. With lots of additions as we're not Jains. And pretend naans made from pizza dough started I don't know when but still good. Yum.
