    • Not been on for a while long story. Been reading all your posts and looking at your lovely chillis and peppers etc.
This is my sweet pepper plant that I overwintered last year. Gave it a tidy up as very old tired leaves at bottom. Stuck bamboo stock to support and hey presto..
Now I know how to compress pics others will follow soonish!!

        • Anyone got any ideas as to why my two red manzano plants look ill with some yellowing on the leaves? Here's a quick photo.

          • As promised and actually remembered.

Pictures of my jalapeños. One of them is close up and you can see them coming through and the other one you can see how tall it's getting. So I'm doing something right I think.

But have noticed that each morning I am losing some flowers still on the stem. Never mind

              • I've got some flowers on the Cayenne and the sweet pepper too, will have a last go at getting some of the others to germinate to try and over winter for next year.

Hopefully now they are all in bigger pot and have more space, they will all take off and turn into monsters very soon

                      • Should you let chillis grow as tall as they want or nip the growing tip at some stage? Mine are Padron and are about two foot now.

                        Kind Regards........Rob

                        • IT depends on how bushy they are? Padron is a pretty tall plant...nipping out the tip encourages side shoots. Got any pics?

If they're outdoors then wind and insects will do it. Indoors they can set fruit by themselves but to give them a helping hand you can tickle the flowers with a cotton bud, soft paintbrush or your finger, or just give the plants a shake from time to time to help the pollen drop from the male to female parts of the flower.

If they flower early in the season I do but otherwise Xi just let them get on with it.
