A good bowlful of kidney beans ... the very last of the last

And another bowl of outdoor tomatoes: the plants have botrytis now and have been composted

This week: Kale, mizuna & mibuna, bell peppers, swiss chard, little gem lettuce, tomatoes (slowing down but still hanging on)

This morning the last of the tomatoes from the greenhouse Botrytis has set in, so they've all been picked. Hoping they will continue to ripen in the kitchen.

Yesterday I picked Kale and more tomatoes then today the last of my Serbian beans.

Lettuce, a nice radiccio treviso and a load of serrano chillies as we are due frosts from tomorrow and the plants are still out in the ground.

For my Birthday Cake, I MOSTLY harvested some Autumn Bliss Raspberries from The Funny Farm Kitchen Garden. I decided to make the Great British Bake of Showstopper Chocolate & Raspberry Opera Cake.... and you can see the result on my blog later this evening Children?

Out of six Autumn King type varieties of carrots sown the only performer has been an F1 hybrid variety (who's name eludes me at the mo)

6 Scotch Bonnet chilli peppers and 2 other chilli peppers (2 different varieties) I don't know the name of. All growing happily outside.
