  • I harvested the last of my grown in the ground tomatoes...going down to 30F tonight with a hard frost.

                  • Lando you could turn your beans into runner bean pickle, I know yours are French beans but I can't see why they shouldn't work the same :-

                          • The last of my sweetcorn, a few carrots which I was going to eat tonight but I had something else instead, courgettes (I fear these may be my last courgettes of the year) and some strawberries which I had as a mid morning snack while down the allotment.

                            Oh and a carry bag full of green tomatoes (green tomato chutney anyone?)
