Heavy rain only just stopped - bit of sun now. Excited to see the state of the water butts on the plot later

Sometimes its heavy, sometimes its light rain - but I don't care, its all wet stuff and that's what counts.

We had rain until lunch time today.
Everything looking so much fresher.
Barrels, buckets and water butts about half full now.

Since 9pm last night I've had a total of 6.5mm of rain. Whoop Whoop that's half the amount of rain that I've had during the rest of the month

An afternoon of rain and a thunderstorm. Like VC says, sometimes heavy, sometimes light. The water butt's full again, tall plants a bit shaken by the strong gusts, but nothing broken down. The dust has been laid, and everywhere smells fresh again.

Rained properly yesterday, first time in eight weeks. Raining again this morning.

Still raining this morning, a fine misty rain. Been outside sowing flower seeds for next year.

3 interconnected water butts, that were totally empty yesterday, are now full.

A little rain about 6" in the butts but windy, snapped a couple of sweetcorn and both courgettes

Its the same here VC isn't it good to have those butt refilled.

All water butts, buckets and basins are now full up.
I also put as many plants as I could manage out in the rain and they look the better for it.
All back in the greenhouse now.
